I’m Jessa! I’ve been a registered nurse for 5 years with experience in critical care, community health, hospice, and telehealth. I graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Becoming a nurse has been the most challenging and rewarding aspect of my life, aside from being a mom and wife! I understand what it means to be at the forefront of patient care and how to provide the best care for my patients and their families. As a healthcare content writer and nurse, it is crucial that patients receive accurate, evidence-based, and easy-to-read information to live their best lives!

Before becoming a nurse, I received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and specialized in flute. My passion for the arts and the discipline I’ve learned through music school greatly influence how I practice nursing.

Some of my favorite things include unrushed gym sessions, hiking during fall season, and family hugs with my husband and kids.
